Railroad Days

Railroad Days Festival and Parade - One of North Georgia's Greatest Traditions

The Railroad Days Festival and Parade connects businesses with thousands of people and is an opportunity to distribute information, recruit members, sell great food, educate the public, sell arts and crafts, and enjoy the Lula community. Booth vendors and parade participants are an important part of the festival, and we invite you to participate in the 50th Annual celebration of Lula Railroad Days! Also this year, the city is celebrating 150 years as a city along with the country celebrating 250 years since the Declaration of Independence.

The 50th Annual Railroad Days Celebration!

Saturday, May 2, 2026

This year’s festivities will begin with an informal opening on Friday evening May 1, with participating vendors setting up and catering to residents. Food vendors will be available so that families can get some dinner and visit the booths just before dark.

The festival kicks off at 9 AM on Saturday morning, and the parade will begin promptly at 10 AM on Main Street. Participants are encouraged to begin lining up at 8:30 AM. Live entertainment will be taking place on the stage near the Depot from 11 AM – 5 PM. We extend special invitations to local businesses and organizations to join the fun in making this a weekend to remember!

For more information, call Lula City Hall at 770-869-3801. If interested in being in the parade celebration and line up, scroll to the bottom of the page for the Parade Registration form.
